The Institute tailors learning exchanges, seminars, workshops, webinars, podcasts and teach-ins to inform best-practices, fuel healthy debate and encourage innovation in any setting. Working within a larger ecosystem of cooperative organizations, master-teachers and educators, the institute also meets the needs of people working in corporate, not-for-profit or faith-based institutions through a variety of retreats and curated team experiences.
Ensuring Equity and Diversity
We’re engaging institutions and organizations in a combination of racial justice, racial healing, gender justice training and workshops as well as intercultural assessment, discovery and evaluation tools that engage people and organizations in transformative learning and the pursuit of equity and inclusive change. Technical assistance in equity and diversity take institutions through internal and programmatic DEI assessment, DEI monitoring and measurement, capacity and resource allocation. We tailor deeper dives into journeys towards racial healing.
Capacity Building for the Reproductive Justice Field
We’re connecting midwives to the grassroots by providing them community health worker training and operating a support line for pregnant persons who need midwives and doulas.
We offer an intersectional framework for advancing health and healing that combines trauma-informed care, nature therapy, and immersive experiences for health practitioners in culturally specific modalities.
Designing for Equity
We build capacity across health care systems and clinics, housing services, employment services, education and across philanthropy by bringing an equity centered design framework. We work with teams and bring a design thinking process re-imagined to promote equity at all levels of infrastructure and operations. Our approach powers institutions to apply design thinking that can serve as a force for equity and address the effects of oppression.
