New Paradigms
We’re creating space to seed health and turn the tide on the social determinants of health. From farming and growing holistic herbs, to offering capacity building and workshops for doulas and midwives, from designing for equity in health care systems to increasing food accessibility on our farm or our mobile van in the cities and towns, we’re empowering new paradigms for decolonizing health.
Trauma Counseling
Fom healing individual traumas to practicing interpersonal reconciliation, we are providing holistic healing programs that invite individuals into what it means to feel and heal within our historical, cultural and political context, and reveal what is possible in our lives and relationships when we begin to show up as our full embodied selves. We practice our liberatory models–liberation psychology, ecopsychology, pedagogies of tenderness, etc. that offer a clear alternative to the current architecture of injustice.

Maternal Mental Health
We have doulas and mental health professionals on hand to support prenatal and postpartum. Working with a consortium of 10 community and institutional partners including City Block and Ancient Song Doula Services, Public Health Solutions and Empire BCBS and as a Merck for Mothers, Safer Childbirth Cities initiative in Brooklyn, Black Women’s Blueprint increases access to, attendance at and quality of care for postpartum visits for over 1,250 pregnant and postpartum Black women per year.
