A Place for the World
to Recover

Our Shared Vision

Restore Forward and The Reconciliation Center are sister entities united in a shared multidisciplinary healing ecosystem of metabolic health interventions, self-recovery and social and spiritual reconciliation. Together, we operate on a combined 453 acres of forest in Ava, New York and have joined forces to offer a new eco-somatic recovery method, restoring life and the body at the cellular, communal, and ecological levels.

Our Centers

Restore Forward anchors its work in two connected Centers that make health, healing, and connections to the Earth possible in a joyful community with more than 150 partners and allies.

The Reconciliation
Center

The Reconciliation Center is a nonprofit land-based healing and justice organization stewarding a working organic farm with geothermic growing spaces, a forest of healing herbs, and community-rooted programs that restore health, dignity, and self-determination. Through its Mobile Health & Nutrition Outreach Food as Medicine (FaM) Unit, survivor advocacy and crisis response services, community doula training birth justice advocacy, and a cooperative economics model grounded in mutual aid, the Center advances whole-person healing while cultivating food sovereignty, ecological stewardship, and pathways to recovery for individuals and families impacted by trauma and systemic inequity.

Restore
Forward

Restore Forward is the social enterprise launched by The Reconciliation Center in 2020 to operationalize holistic care through an integrative wellness studio, med-spa and diagnostic wellness model to support the body’s own healing systems. Blending functional medicine, mental health support, traditional practices, and naturopathic interventions, Restore Forward delivers root-cause healing therapies and personalized wellness pathways that address the interconnected physical, emotional, and environmental drivers of illness while generating earned revenue to sustain and expand the Center’s community healing mission.
